This notice explains how June Bistro - Cafe & Restaurant (“June Bistro”, “we”, “us”), 174 DS Senanayake Veediya, Kandy 20000, Sri Lanka, handles personal information you share with us through this website. We follow the principles of Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022.

What we collect

Contact form: your name, email, phone number (optional), the topic and your message, plus any event date and guest numbers you add.
Newsletter: your email address and your consent to receive emails.
Orders: the dishes you choose and the name, phone number, pick-up time and notes you enter. If you send the order by WhatsApp, it goes directly from your device to our WhatsApp number. If you pay online, payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
Technical data: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare your order or plan your catering or group booking.
To send you our newsletter, only if you asked for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To keep the website secure and working.

Who we share it with

We share information only with services that help us run this website and our business: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), our email provider (to send replies and newsletters), Stripe (online payments) and Meta’s WhatsApp (if you choose to message us there). We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and order details are kept for up to 12 months unless we need them longer for accounting or legal reasons. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Call or WhatsApp 075 637 8215 or use our contact form.
